My "Home-made M3xi"
Hello all, I used to have a E46 M3, but living in Michigan I needed a reliable all season AWD car. Hence, I got a 2008 E92 335xi - picked it up in Munich and also did the Performance Delivery in Spartanburg. It needed some tweaks and after a lot of research and having one of the best BMW dealerships near my house and I think the best technician, we were able to make what I call my "M3xi." Mods include:
KW V3 coilovers - set at midrange 19 in M6 reps with Goodyear F1 Eagles M3 steering wheel Dinan stage II software Dinan oil cooler GP Thunders white reflectors front lip spoiler M3 rear spoiler aluminum "racing" pedals LED and xenon interior lighting Total on mods was under $11,000 installed and vehicle was European delivery pricing minus $1000. So basically Eurodelivery price plus $10K for allseason driving and atleast M3 performance. I haven't driven a new M3 but 3 technicians that drove this and an M3 state this is faster and handles better. I think they are both cool, this is just more economical and gives better gas mileage and can be driven with more confidence for 4 seasons. I apologize in advance for the quality of the pictures. It was taken with my Iphone. |

I think your exterior looks awesome. The drop and the wheels are nice. I am not really feeling the pedals though..... But hey it's inside and only you can see it......

nice lookin' ride, debadge would be nicer......as for the handling......you don't have any suspension work so...uhh........yeah....p.s. I don't think that a Dinan stg2 will put you much ahead of the E92 M3........not starting a battle, nice car, but no M3

Too many badges... Just stick with the DINAN one.
Also, you have the automatic? How come you didn't get the $100 paddle shiftes???

The car look like an automatic. What happened to the paddles to shift on the steering wheel?
You need to debage at least the "DINAN" or the "335XI". Other than that it looks great!!! |

Awesome Mods!
Remove 335 and use DINAN 3 Xi.

The car has KW V3 coilovers - handles sharper than an M3 and adjustable for track vs street.
