Has any one put a Resonator and cold start cat delete xpipe with stock muffler?

Just Deleted the Resonator, sounds rasspy reving but underload sound realy bad ass IMO

Having the secondary cats removed tomorrow

Z4Dave -- sounds good! That is ONLY a resonator delete, right? Stock mufflers are still on?

Sounds REALLY good to me...better than I thought.

yeah stock muffler, just cut off the resonators and secondary cats, and replaced the whole section with stainless steel pipe

They both sound great. It is a "cheap" mod for some great sound IMHO. I may try the resonator delete first....thanks for sharing fellas!

Hmm interesting. I am also looking to do exactly this but I really want to get rid of the muffler since its so big and ugly in the back! I saw a vid while back where a guy basically did straight pipes and magnaflow tips and it sounded like a F1 car

Decided not to remove the cats until i hear it with a new muffler on

from what i`ve read the secondary cats are for cold startup so i would think once the main cats are warm there pretty much useless
