Clutch question
The clutch in our 07 328xi wagon seems dead; as in there very little return presure, it returns but feels weak and the length or throw feels short, shifts are difficult at times. The car has 9000mi. and used to be my wifes daily driver. The only reference I have is to compare it to the clutch on my 335 which has simular milage, the clutch action is still like new and it shifts smoothly all the time. I will be taking the car in this week any ideas on what could be the problem?

It sounds like you have lost pressure in your hydraulic system. The clutch uses the same fluid as the brakes. So, you could check the level in the brake reservoir to see if you have a leak. Regardless, you're still under warranty so take it to the dealer to figure out.

The clutch in a traditional manual transmission vehicle is not covered under warranty. It is covered if it's SMG. If you need a clutch replacement, you'll likely need to pay out of pocket.
