New 328xi Owner

Hi guys. Picked up a 2011 328xi with 65,000 miles on the dash for a great price. Very excited to be getting back into a bmw. I financed a brand new RAM 1500 Ecodiesel in 2017, horrible truck until it was tuned/deleted, these trucks have bearing issues that causes catastrophic engine failure so then I was nervous (tuned/deleted=voided warranty) new engine costs $20,000 at the dealer, ultimately decided to cut my losses and get rid of it. So far I’m loving the Bmw although I’m very upset this thing does not have an alarm (wtf?) lol and also another big bummer is no xenon headlights..Not sure how hard/expensive a conversion would be but I’ll be reading through threads to educate myself on the matter and also some performance upgrades! Looking forward to learning more about these cars

Congrats. Go search the DIY section and the Alarm/bluetooth/electronics section.

You get can an alarm retrofit kit for $140 shipped from ptpending, I got one from him and it works great. It's by far the easiest retrofit I've ever done

Thanks! I live in Fairfield County. Trumbull it’s next to Bridgeport lol
