BM3 OTS tunes -- E30 vs Race Gas 100oct

Which one will make power? I don't see the race gas tune mentioned at all. What is your experience with the race gas tune?

It all depends on your map. Considering everything else is equal race gas can make more power since its higher octane than an E30 mix

race gas is also more energy dense than ethanol so the HPFP will have an easier time supplying the amount of fuel needed.

That’s what I was thinking and hence me being intrigued by the race gas tune. I did get some runs to compare stg2 93 vs stg2 e30. If possible, I’m going to get some race gas 1/4 mile passes to compare all 3 and share the results. I’ll update the 1/4 mile list/thread when I get on my computer.

I would expect the race gas map to be the fastest.

how do you guys make the switch over from 91 or 93 to race fuel? you cant exactly drain the tank completely so there will be some mixing of the race gas and pump?

You can just drive until your tank is almost empty... its not like you cant mix pump gas and race gas. Even if you have a gallon of 91 left and put 9 gallons of 100 octane you have > 99 octane gas. It will just take a little planning to get to the station that sells the race gas with the proper amount of fuel left, assuming you arent buying/storing your own containers.
