After Market Headlights Question

My 2008 328i's headlights were foggy when I bought the car. I tried the magic kit with the same paper and the polish. It certainly improved it but it's still pretty bad. So, I'm looking at after market lights.
My question is.... will these supposed plug-and-play lights really just work? Mine aren't LED. I've read so much about LED lights throwing codes.

I would be hesitant to buy any aftermarket lights off of eBay. You want to get some proper, well-engineered projectors. If you're trying to pass inspection then these will work but I don't think you'll be too impressed with their performance.
