Dipping mirrors

Hi,

I have a F31 and my passenger side mirror will dip when the car is in reverse.

On the G20/1, when reading the online builder it says this function is paired to having electric seats, is that correct? Do I need the Premium package to get side dipping mirrors?

Not a feature on my G20, so I'm guessing it's entirely possible that you need the premium package.

I have a dipping nearside door mirror when reversing and I do not have the electric seats. My car was an Sept 19 build, so there is always the possibility of a spec change I suppose.

Ok thank you, I would ask the dealers but they aren't always in the know! Might just ask them if I can try a car without electric seats

My M Sport, M Sport Plus Pack, no electric seats but has the dipping mirror, it was delivered 24th Oct

No electric seats for me and my kerbside mirror dips when I put it into reverse unless I have the mirror selector set to left. If I'm reversing straight, not up to a kerb I just flick the switch as I pull up before dropping to reverse and it stays out so I can see behind properly

Me too thank you! To jump on bandwagon mine is M Sport 330E no electric seats recent build and has it!

I have dipping mirrors on my G20 sport . I do not have electric seat adjustment but I do have the heated front seats ( bum cookers) 3 mins on regulo 3 . I leave the wife side on full all the time for the hell of it

Mine fold in when locking the car.

Mine fold in on locking. There's a setting on the Idrive. I don't have any premium package.

Nope no premium seats and mine fold on locking also, as above it's an idrive setting

Great, I was looking on how to turn that off.

To stop the wing mirror dipping , once you put in reverse and the mirror dips, use the control on the side of the door and adjust wing mirror back up before you actually reverse. That should do it.

No, to stop the mirror dipping the mirror selector switch should be placed in the passenger side setting. If it’s left in the drivers side setting it will dip.

Dipping passenger mirror is standard feature with folding mirrors. Completely separate to electric seats.

I found the mirror lowering tool in the doors icon but think I will leave it off for now. I don't need the mirrors to fold in my garage.
