Returning lease with slightly different wheels

I want to change my rear wheels/tires to staggered. The wheel style and tire brand will be the same as my current ones, just 255mm in width instead of 225mm.

Will BMW give me problems when I return my leased car?

I know some will say yes and some will say no. I just want to get some ideas before I risk it.

Thanks.

If they are OEM wheels I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm gonna do the same... but put on non-RFTs; will save the current tires for lease return.
Where are you getting the wider rear wheels from? Dealer?

How about tire changes during the contract?

I think you can do whatever you want, as long as you return it to them with the original rims. You'll be stuck with two rims I think you'll have trouble selling later. I would just get a whole set of aftermarket flow forged wheels with a more aggressive setup. Something like 10x19 wheels in the rear, or even 10.5 x 20 in the rear. Curious how that would look.
