X3MC remapped to 612hp
Drove the car to Bergamo today to be remapped after SuperSprint free flow stainless catalytic converter was installed last week. First off, bmw is seriously underrating our engine output. Granted, mine went on dyno with the free flow cat, so maybe that explained a small initial bump, but unmapped it was measured at 550 horse. Remap took me to 612 with about a hundred more Newton meters of torque too at 720. Can I feel it driving now? You bet your @ss. Under full acceleration, the car actually hunkers down as the suspension compresses and jumps up a bit during shifts. Don't recall it ever doing that before. All told, the car just "feels" lighter now, which I know is not the case, but it just accelerates much more effortlessly. On another note, I'm done with exhaust mods with just the high flow primary cat. I heard my friend's X4MC with factory opf/secondary cat and resonator delete. While it was louder than mine, the tone was also more Metallic and higher pitched. I prefer the deep rumble of mine and the tuner today told me straight up the secondary cat(I don't have an opf) and resonator delete wouldn't affect my performance or map one bit. Another thing, they also removed the top speed limiter and installed the 330 km/h speedo and increased power displays to 640hp. I'll take some shots and post tomorrow. This car should definitely do 300km/h now which is insane in an SUV. Oh, and one last thing, Biesse Racing, who did my tune, called in one of the local sports car you tubers who took video of my map and street tests afterwards. It should be uploaded to his channel tomorrow, and I'll share here. All, told, an incredible day, and this car flys now for a 2 ton suv! Hell, for that matter it plain flys by any standard.

Tune looks great, but I'll wait for Dinan signature package so it's warrantied by BMW in the event something happens.

Dinan will warranty your engine, not BMW anymore. So, in the case of something happened, Dinan and BMW will sort out the bill. Until Dinan accept the fact that the damages caused by their product, they won't pay the bill and you will be stuck in between. To OP. Good gain. I have seen that number before somewhere.

Shouldn't the transmission downshift to prevent lugging if you apply too much throttle during low RPM situations? I know our cars are very aggressive with the transmission and it prevents lugging by keeping the RPMs up.

I like the stealthy de-badging in the rear as well... you're gonna surprise the hell out of everyone taking off at the stoplights!

That's the point. Muahahahaha....... In fact, I already did on my 2 hour drive home.I had a midsized puegot that came up on me quickly when I was just humming along, so I got over and let him pass as all polite Europeans do. I gave him about half a minute to get down the road a ways then decided to see if he would reciprocate in kind. I closed the gap quickly and came barreling down on him in no time, but he didn't move over despite an empty center lane. I waited 5 seconds matching his speed behind him and still no yield, so I jumped over in the right lane and floored it. I shot by that guy and calmy reentered the left lane in front of him after quickly putting a good 100 meters between us then continued to push to 230 kmph until shutting it down due to the unknown asphalt and poor highway illumination. Germans make much better roads...... (sigh) with the limiter removed, she'll easily do 300kmph plus now.

Great work! With this, you got promoted from Mr. Italy to Italian Godfather. Looking forward to some street performance videos!
