Shadowline window trim in the US

I just recently purchased a '20 330i sportline and was curious if anyone had swapped out the satin chrome window trim that comes on the non- M sport models? I have a black grille and black wheels coming and the chrome trim around the windows wont really match. If anyone has any ideas on how to black out the trim I'd appreciate it. Not really looking to plastidip it as I dont think the finish looks to good. Thanks.

I've been looking into the same for blacking out mine but I don't think there is an option yet to swap out the trim (even though it seems like you can snap them out and snap new ones back in fairly easily).

I most likely will give vinyl wrapping a go myself. I've watched a fair few YouTube videos now and it doesn't look too difficult as long as you get the right tools and prep well.

Has anyone determined if the window trim is available? I'd like an alternative to vinyl wrap as well.

Keis motorsports has a video where they remove and paint the brushed chrome trim on their G20 330i. A cheap DIY if you can remove door cards and mirrors.

I've been eyeing the product you bought. Let me know how it goes. If it is decent enough, I'd like to get a set for my car as well.

I have asked couple questions to seller before i bought this item. It is stainless steel thin pieces that is coated with gloss black so i am expecting perfect finish. Because they are so thin they will overlay on top of the existing trims. They also did precut under the mirror so it will sit just right. Plus the edges also covered. Each piece comes with protection cover and 3M tape on both edges. I am expecting a really good outcome. Will also share with pictures here.

If this works out well i think it is the best way to do it unless you have original trims which cost about $900.

+1 I been eyeing this for so long i seen the price drop 3 time already and now at this price it's hard to resist, my biggest fear is that it will get damaged during shipping, Hope this arrives in perfect condition and well packed for the forum member that ordered it so i can order it right away, and thank you for giving this a shot to whoever got it first, def gonna help the rest of us out making this decision

Any update on this? I'd love to see some pics. My wifes wants black trim and I'm exploring options
