What's this al about?
What's that oil leak at only 50k km? The car was at the dealer 8k km ago when the last oil change happened and they did not seen this?
Will this be expensive to fix ? |

To me it looks like the differential cover gasket is weeping/seeping. If that's the case, shouldn't be too expensive to fix. At worst, it's the pinion seal, and the fluid is being pushed back by the air flow as you are driving, making it appear as though the diff cover gasket is leaking. Check around the pinion seal to make sure the fluid isn't coming from there.

I've personally seen 2 F3x chassis cars have leaking diff output seals before 20k miles, 1 was approximately 9 months old and 9k miles.
