M340i Headlights
Can anyone confirm whether the adaptive LED's which come as standard on the M340i are the so-called "dancing headlights" that automatically alter the throw of the beam so as not to dazzle oncoming traffic or the car in front?
I'd assumed they were but I thought that system required the High Beam Assistant and looking on the configurator it seems you can only get that on the M340i by opting for the Visibility Package which includes the Laserlights. I'm therefore wondering whether the adaptive lights which come as standard are more basic and just do the look round corner function only - can anyone confirm? |

There are several posts in this forum regarding the way that BMW UK have fitted adaptive LEDs without the all-singing, all-dancing function, and then charge £1500 extra for Visibility Package to include HBA. Other countries have a better deal.
