F32 Original difusser ?

Contemplating getting one of these and this one popped up on eBay :

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-B...5c75%7Ciid%3A1

Looking at the pics there seems to be some extra plastic across where the exhaust outlets are , are these for transportation / storage purposes and to be removed prior to fitting ?

I have had a look on YT at fitting videos but can only find aftermarket ones being fitted , which don't have the "extra" plastic.

Thanks in advance.

I would imagine is part of the mold to hold its shape. You would need to take the off when installing

Pretty much what I was thinking , just never seen anything else like it hence the question.

The seller has just came back with a revised price , as I had it on my watch list, so I may give it a punt.

The seller came back with a price of £232 delivered, not too bad for OEM.

I had to cut it off using a dremel.

You should also get a foam strip with it.... which looks like a long piece of string.... i had no idea where this went... until found the instructions which called this the paint insert - so when its getting painted to allow you to keep the centre part matt.

I think this is a great mod.
Insurance impact means I can't be arsed however...

Try BlueBell BMW Crewe or Cotswold BMW. Both very competitive

I will give them a call after the holidays and see what they can come up with, although £232 seems a fair price considering they are around £360 list even though it is just a piece of shaped plastic.

Interestingly, I made Bluebell Crewe an offer on eBay for M Performance Dark Line tail lights, which when I called up the parts department to get a price on, they couldn't match. So I got they via eBay as it saved me some moolah!
