Got myself a genuine BMW diffuser for the F30.
It has come with a little bag with what looks like a length of beading.
Anyone know where this is likely to be used?

Just mentioned this in another thread... if its anything like the f32 then only used to allow you to paint it and keep the centre part matt.

It's basically what they would term in the trade as 'soft edge'. It fits around the centre part of the diffuser so you can mask off the rest of the centre when painting, as noted above. Helps make a nice neat job instead of trying to sick making tape into a small gap.
