West Coast Deliveries Delayed?
I've been waiting with baited breath for my X3. Sold my old car and now down one in the family garage.
USA West Coast cars are (of course) built in Spartanburg, loaded onto trains and sent to Oxnard, CA. From there, they are trucked to their eventual destination/dealer. I was informed on 12/16 that my completed car had been placed on a railcar and was expected in Oxnard on 12/31. I had thought that seemed like quite a long time to ride on a train, and was hopeful they might have been being conservative. Today I got a note from my sales guy saying that there's a bottleneck of some sort in Oxnard and he's hoping they figure it out quickly so my M40i can get on a truck up to Seattle soon. No indication whether it's in this jam or still trundling its way to California. BUMMER. Anybody else hearing about delays? |

Mine made the same trip about 3 weeks ago, and was stuck at the Oxnard/Hueneme VDC a few weeks before being trucked to PDX - took delivery on 12/14.
Hope yours arrives soon
