Bavsound Stage 1 and BimmerTech PP82DSP
Sold my F30 so my audio upgrades are for sale. My new (to me) F10 has the B&O or else I'd be installing these in that. Amazing upgrade if you have the "HiFi" system, which sounds like it belongs in a Toyota Corolla. Speakers: https://www.bavsound.com/pages/build-your-kit?step=3 Retail cost is $547. Plug and play installation means you can install yourself or will be that much easier for a pro installer (took my guy less than 45 minutes to pull these out and replace with my OEM speakers). There are 5 midrange drivers and two tweeters. The midrange I was using for a center channel had some of the adhesive melt, so it flutters when you turn it up. A steady hand and a bit of adhesive will have it fixed up. Regardless, I'm pricing as if there were only 4. The other 4 midranges and 2 tweeters are perfect. Retail price was about $1000 I think. Works perfectly. I'll also include an RCA adapter to connect a mono subwoofer amp (has a pre out built right in!) and a pretty long USB cable, more than long enough to reach the driver's seat when the amp is installed. Amp is preloaded with a tune for an F30 equipped with Bavsound speakers. Both items on their own are a great upgrade, but they work really well together. One of the worst parts of listening to music in the car is the close proximity of the listening position to the front speakers. With this amp, you can tune enough parameters to actually create the illusion of a sound stage out in front of you. These two things were the first and best upgrades I made to my car. My buddy has an F32 with HK and he was really impressed by the sound. Will sell separately but would prefer to sell as a package. Amp: 600 Speakers: 300 Will ship at buyer's expense. I also have a custom fiberglass 10" subwoofer enclosure made to fit in the left side of the trunk of an F30. Doubt it will fit other F model cars. I don't want to ship that so I'll be listing it separately but if you're in south Florida and want to add it to the package, I'll toss it in for $100 more. |
