bm3 bundle pack

is it worth getting the bundle pack? I know it includes all the OTS Maps.

i have all the hardware i need to go straight to stage 2, but should i start off with stage 1? or should i just go straight to stage 2?

if i go straight to stage 2 i wont need to purchase anything else, however if i start with stage 1 then i buy stage 2 for 50 dollats i might as well just buy the bundle pack.

thoughts?

Buy the bundle for $50. It will give you options, plus you may end up going e30 stage 2 down the road

I still think it's not bad to start with stage 1 but if stage 2 is what you want and you already have all the components needed then just straight stage 2

Later if you need to have to downgrade to stage then buy stage 1 for 50 dollars. Anyway if your happy with stage 2 at least you didn't pay extra while starting on stage 1

i dont see myself going to stage 1 from 2, would defeat the purpose of all the added stuff, also i dont see myself going bigger turbos or anything else.... thats why im debating if i should spend the 50 on the bundle pack

edit: there is a trans tune i wonder if that comes with the bundle pack or if its just free...

Don't buy it. Just go stage 2 straight ... pick the correct map, save that $50

Actually, I just purchased the BM3 to replace/try against my current AA Flash Tune from Mike @ XPH

I don't ever intend on running Stg1 or any of the other maps included in the bundle, so I didn't bother purchasing it...

So with that $50 saved, I used it toward an optional Jordan Custom Tune (incl. in my BM3 purchase thru Mike) - which will yield much better results over any of the OTS tunes available

So I still have the Stg2 OTS that I chose + all other features of BM3, but also custom Track Tuning (using logs) + 2Hr Remote Dyno Tuning.

Jordan Tuned is highly respected - my car is DD so I'm not looking to run on the 'ragged edge' but to make as much power possible, safely/reliably, with my specific car

I really don't know the actual breakdown of the items in the pkg I purchased

Got the BM3, OBD Wifi Agent, Jordan Tune

Mike has the best pricing & always affords me a great deal esp. good discount when buying several items at one time.

I don't want to speak for Mike - just hit him up with a PM for quote on what you're looking for

I will tell you it's prolly got to be at least $499 additional for the custom tune - which is a good deal considering all they do. You MUST have the BM3 license 1st regardless

The Jordan custom tune does not have to be purchased @ same time as BM3 - you can go thru BM3 to 'request custom tune' and choose Jordan from list at any time. I'll guess that the cost would be higher than if purchased thru Mike

He will send you a base tune, let you know what he wants logged. You make the runs & send logs over, he tweaks. You can do this as many times as necessary until you are happy. Then to fine tune you got thru the 2Hr Remote Dyno tune @ a dyno of your choosing...

When I get around to the custom tune this Spring I will dyno the OTS Stg2 tune 1st to compare to final Jordan tune

tbh im such a novice at this, only because my knowledge to give any feedback or input to him will be very limited.

i will try the OTS 93 stage 2. maybe after a couple of months i can get a better idea of what i would want tweaked.

Custom tune on stock turbo won’t offer a huge power increase over OTS, maybe 5%. I personally enjoy the bundle and I go back and forth between e30 and 93 oct. To each their own tho. If you don’t think you’ll use it save the $50 bucks.

Bro!... one step at a time. You have the parts recommended ie catless dp and intercooler then just get BM3 stage 2 and transmission flash included first then go from there.

If you want more then invest on serious costume tune.

Just start somewhere...
