Exclamation Watch & Listen | M340 | Muffler Delete with Quad Tips

Not mine - stumbled on this and thought I would share. From what I can gather it is a muffler delete with quad tips otherwise stock.

The quad tips look nice but it honestly doesn't sound that much different compared to the MPE on my car.

I feel like that’s a nice compliment considering a DP would be significantly cheaper than the MPE

From what I can gather this is with a stock downpipe - it's simply a muffler delete with quad tips added for cosmetic purposes

Ive heard the M340 with the MPE muffler in person and after hearing this video - I can't say that I notice much of a difference between the two. Now a direct side x side may cause me to change my mind so we'll see.

Like you waiting on some mpe videos / sound clips

Nice! I like some burbles here and there but kinda wish they were toned down more. Maybe it's a little less overkill when driving.

My 335i with MPPK & MPE has nice burbles and love those but they aren't overkill IMO

Did muffler delete the second day I got the car and went back to the shop the next day. Waaaaayy too much drone, but sounded so good. I had my shop make me a custom muffler and it doesn't have any drone and increased the noise of the car by 30-40%. I'll be installing Catted vrsf downpipe this week and it that should do the trick and make a good combo, hopefully.

Since these cars have 2 pipes running under the car has anyone thought about installing a x pipe right after the cats

There is only one turbocharger and one downpipe. It splits into 2 under the car. Adding an X after it splits would be pointless.

Do they sell this muffler or are there any on the market like it? Or can you provide any details on how they did it to reduce/remove drone whilst maintaining the volume increase?
