Rod knock?

Today, I started hearing a knock coming from the engine at idle. Doesnt get louder when I rev the engine. Not sure if its rod knock, what does it sound like to you? I know I've also got some injector noise also, but you'll be able to tell the difference.

Its hard to tell but I would guess not rod. When I had issues with rods it was RPM dependent. Just a guess, exhaust leak..

Went out this morning, started the car and no knock. However, after hearing up
A bit the knock came back, maybe it's just me but it seems louder now.

He’s giving you things to look for to confirm or not confirm your issue.

I took it as him confirming why it doesnt start knocking until the engine gets warm.
Since that was my last post prior to him posting.

Gotcha. Confused. Your post didn’t say warming up?

As loud as that is, you should be able to figure out what area of the engine it is coming from. Pick up a mechanics stethoscope. https://www.autozone.com/test-scan-a...iece/70131_0_0

Poke around the valve cover, block, exhaust and so on.

Got a scope, but when I went to pinpoint the knock went out to check and the knocking is completely gone!! I cant reproduce it at the moment. What the heck could be going on. A rod doesnt just stop knocking all of a sudden.
