Mhd messed up my car help.

My car was fine until i installed mhd. Didn’t get to drive the car or anything. It gave me code 2c58 charging control pressure switch off as consequence and 3012 exhaust camshaft installation faulty. Anyone had similar issues ?? 2012 e92 n55

You should do poll for n55 only.. I see a lot of issues on that platform.. Not so on the n54..

Did you get your VANOS bolt recall done? Because there's a recall for this issue you're describing and screenshotting.

My car doesn’t have that recall. It has the upgraded bolts already. People are saying my timing could be off but don’t see how if that hasn’t been touched.

Been in the n54 game for a decade now, jb4 to Cobb and now MHD. I wouldn't say a tune causes problems but it can expose weak links. For example, misfires only when tuned. Fix the culprit and it will be fine. That's about it.

A tune obviously puts more stress on the motor and turbo, but if ur not beating it up everytime you drive I'm sure you'll be fine. I got friends who abuse their n54s and they seem to be holding up fine, so idk it's alwYs a dice roll with Germans

So you seen what the ots maps are set to for the n55 from MHD? Since the tune won't cause this issue you must have. Can you share?

I am having the EXACT same issue. Car was fine, installed MHD... those two codes come up, car goes into limp mode. This is before driving it one inch. If I clear the codes they come right back. UNLESSSSSS........

If I turn engine off, clear codes, unplug electrical to solenoid, then plug it back in. Start the car: It is perfectly normal. Once I shut car off, then back on.... problems come back.

I have tried 2 different solenoids, checked vacuum ect. I did notice that when the car is off that there is ~0.5V across the solenoid plug. On my other n55 and my n54 there is 0 volts.

I am sincerely hoping you found a fix for this!!!!!

The options of the poll are Na and Na, shouldn't it be Ya or Na?
