Installed injen short ram intake in car about week and half ago, today service engine soon light came on. Is this common

it's always the last thing you touched f it happened after you worked on it.

did you check and make sure that the maf wasn't unplugged or something stupid?

Points to hot film air mass meter sensor that you put on intake. Make sure its in correct position and your seals are good on intake after sensor.

Unplugged the MAF plugged it back in, then sorta repositioned the intake. SES light was still on. Then a couple hours later I go to take my car out and now it's off and has remained off the rest of the day
