Oil Filter Housing Gasket - bolts

When you replace your oil filter housing gasket, do you replace the 3 bolts as well

Some say they stretch and needs to be replaced.

I found that mine must be steel because sticks to magnet

Thoughts ?

No need to replace them. They are not aluminum or stretch bolts. They only stretch if they were over tightened. Just torque them and you should be good.

Replaced my bolts when I did my gasket. The cost for the bolts was not much. Bought everything from FCP Euro.

No no need to change them. But if I were to do it again I would get new bolts because it's a few $ and I like new hardware.
