Dropped my microfiber mitt on the driveway - Toss it out??

The driveway was wet and soapy and I dropped my mitt on it - do I toss the mitt or can I run it through a wash cycle and be confident I won't introduce swirl marks on my car?

I've dropped my mitt before as well. I rinsed it under the sink for a bit, then threw it in the washing machine. When the cycle was finished, I put it in again, even though there wasn't a lot of dirt in it, better to be safe than sorry. I Have used it multiple times since then and haven't noticed any marks.

Throw it away, no question.

Risk vs. reward

$7.50 vs. $500-2k paint correction on a $80-100k SAV
