The Logic7 subs under the seats are making {something} rattle behind the side skirts. Has anyone had this problem?

Looking for a fix. Makes my car sound like a shitbox

Sometimes, but I can only hear it outside the car.

My 06' 330i does it, and so does the M235i in the family. Interested to see what exactly it is, although I'm pretty convinced it's just the undertray vibrating and hitting something.

Jack up car, and look around with the radio on.

Can't speak to every version of the E9X, but in 2006, the 330i had a slightly higher rated subwoofer system than the base 325i. The 330i subs enclosures extend into the cavity in the rocker panel to create a Helmholtz chamber to extend the bass response. The '06 325i did not have this bass resonator feature. I assume the '07 and up 335i models used the extended subwoofer enclosure as well; but later models did have cost-cutting de-contenting going on, so BMW may have dropped the feature altogether. A realoem search may help determine if your car is so equipped.

Maybe the Helmholtz chamber is rattling.

On my next oil change I plan on doing that. Pushing up the side skirt and under tray does nothing, time to dig more

I'll take a quick search for that and see what I can find. Thanks for the detailed response

You can also download a 50 Hz test file:

Play it through you radio, and search for the source of the buzz.
