Yes it could but it could also be coil pack, Have you got a code reader, see what cylinder the misfire is on, Swap the coil pack from where you are getting the misfire with a another coil pack from a another cylinder & see if the misfire moves to that cylinder, If so its your coil pack, If it doesn't it may be your spark plug, or it cold be a ejector.

How many miles on the plugs? But before anything, run a bottle of Techron in your gas. My 335i had a misfire bad enough to put it in limp mode. I ran the fuel system cleaner through from a empty tank. No more misfires. For $5 it's worth a try.

First, do a search on spark plug color.

Did you replace the plug, and do you still get a misfire?

Have you read your codes yet?

Let me tell you, spark plugs should never look like that unless you got well over 100k miles on them. These cars run quite hot which will ruin gaskets, seals, plugs, coils. etc overtime.

Also, that white corrosion explains a lot as to what is going on inside your cylinder head. Like somebody mentioned, make sure to read up on spark plug colours and what that may indicate.
