[BMW_E93_335i]

Occasionally I will get a cluster chime and warning the driver seat is not locked. Looking for some help resolving the 9E71 code on a E93. Description is 'seat backrest lock contact'.

When I look at live data on my Foxwell scanner I can seat 'locked' in the rear position and when I unlock it and push it forward it will read 'unlocked' and bounce to 'open' and then back to 'unlocked'. Looks like the contact switch is bad and the seat module is detecting this.

Where is the contact switch for this in the driver seat? Has anyone replaced the switch and do they have any picts? I have searched and have found nothing.

Hey I'm having the same issue with 9E71. It's my passenger incliner/decliner that's not working. I'm able to use the forward/reverse and headrest adjuster just fine.

When I use the incliner/decliner no noise no power. Just nothing
