LED bulbs for 2011 BMW 328i

Recently just purchased my first car a used 2011 BMW 328i xdrive. Always wanted a BMW and finally got one. One thing I do want to improve is the lights. I want the white/blue look with LEDs. I bought H7/H11 bulbs and was ready to just put them in but I was told I had to buy some sort of adapter before putting them in. Anyone able to point me in the right direction here? Thanks

Which specific lights are you talking about? Angel eyes require specific bulbs so as to not throw a code (something like this: https://www.luxangeleyes.com/products/lux-h8-189)

Fog lights are similar, but you either need to (1) code out the burned-out-bulb check, then you can use a normal LED bulb, or (2) get an inline resistor with a normal LED bulb that simulates the current draw of a halogen bulb. #1 is cleaner but requires more work.

I currently have the regular halogen bulbs in now. I bought LED bulbs to replace the halogen bulbs but I was told I may need an adapter for the LED bulbs before I put them in. I wanted the LEDs for the blue/white look.

I also have a 2011 BMW 328i XDrive. I upgraded the Halo and headlights with LED lights with a bright white 6000K look -- they look awesome and work fantastic. I went with Weisslicht Illustro Flex bulbs for the headlight (https://weisslicht.com/collections/h...22512073998417) and Weisslicht Halo LED Upgrade Kit (https://weisslicht.com/collections/h...22511964389457). I have had these installed for a few years without issue or any heat problems.

I assume you have the Halogens on your LCI E90 and not the projector lights? You can buy LED H7 headlamp bulbs (high beam and low beam are both H7) off Amazon and they will fit in fine without adapters. There are only two hiccups:

-The rear plastic cover on the headlight likely won't fit back on depending on the size of the cooling fins on the base of the bulb (some people cut the plastic cover)

-Unless you code out the bulb check (through the Carly App or by other means) the lights will flicker for a few seconds when starting the car.

and please check the cutoffs against the stock bulbs so you're not an asshole.

have had good success with beam tech bulbs for cheap/ not shit led replacements.

So depending on the quality of the bulbs that you bought they may have built in error cancelers, or they may not just depends on which ones you bought.

Do the lux angel eyes work with the standard factory headlamps?
