Warranty coverage or not?
Is it possible to get warranty coverage on my car still? I have an N51 and the sulev warranty extends all the way for 15 years or 150,000 miles. I don't live in one of those states but it does say "if it is sold in" my car was sold in New Jersey but it is now registered in Michigan. Could I get my dealer in Michigan to replace things still under that warranty? I need new coil packs.

Yes! Did you have to have a specific error to get stuff done? I had a misfire than went away by itself last week that I suspect to be faulty ignition coils. Did the dealer argue with you at all?

I got a SES Light and that was it. Also no inspection charges and they scan codes!

Looks like the "and/or" means you should be covered. If the dealer gives you trouble then call BMW to verify.
They should also cover valve cover gasket and eccentric shaft sensor as well? Check to see if you have oil in the plug to the sensor. |
