F30 328i issues- help!
For a few months now, I have had a whirring noise that is louder when I start the car but subsides after some driving. NOT the turbo. Lol.
I have more recently noticed a vibration at higher speeds (65-80+) that is worse when coasting/decelerating. The car has felt more unstable at high speeds like slightly wobbly. ANYTHING would help, if anyone has had similar issues. Thanks y'all!

The whirring noise you report is likely the oil pump, chain driven module. Very common to hear a low growl/whine until oil is warmed up then it goes away mostly.
As for the vibration... could be a lot of things... How many miles on car? |

Was doing research. Could be something with drivetrain? Friends mention there could be just mud in my wheels from where I work?

Start with the basics - check wheel bearings, check alignment, check wheel balances, etc. You also didnt mention your transmission. If 6MT does it go away with clutch in? How about in neutral? Just start doing some checks and narrow things down. No one is going to be able to guess with the limited info you have provided. |

What tires does your vehicle have? How many miles since the tires have been installed? Incorrect tire pressure + worn tires can be factor.
As thejeremyman9 indicated, there isn't enough information to offer a meaningful diagnostic advice. After following earlier advice to check the basics, please update this thread. |
