I thought it was standard on the G30? (at least on the front side windows anyway)
This article for the UK market at its launch states it's all windows. Not finding the car quiet? I certainly do although I think with any good car you don't appreciate it until you drive / ride in something not as good and then you'll be aware of it. This is not the same as double glazing which was available certainly on older models (I know it was on the E39 , not sure about later though) where you'd only be aware of that when you wound down the window . |

As I understand it, acoustic glass (I’m talking about side glass) is a sandwich of two slices of glass and an acoustic plastic center. The glass on my 540 is single pane. The car is very quiet but at high speeds the wind noise, buffeting and rush, can be annoying.
