N20 what can it handle
i can never seem to find any answers about this. i wanna put the bigger turbo from dian in my car, but i read people blow the rods. Some people say you can make 350 whp reliable. Then ill see someone say you cant go over 300... if i have the supporting mods intake dp cp FMIC TUNE. What else would i need for the bigger turbo to be reliable. Is 350 whp even achievable with these cars i read mixed things about this everyday. I've heard they also cant run well on e85.. i dont understand how if you have proper tune lpfp ff kit what would prevent car from running it? also along with getting a bigger turbo this might sound dumb but would my vrsf dp and er cp have to be changed? to something bigger. I live on longisland and wanna have a shop put it on the dyno and tune it for the bigger turbo. But im debating on if i should try and install it myself lol or have a shop do it. Never really did anything to crazy on cars before so it would all be a learning experience for me. If i do go the shop route how much should i spend for them to install and tune. if anyone knows any good places o longisland let me know!

for N20 engine/drivetain specific information and responses, i suggest re-posting in this sub-forum...https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/fo...play.php?f=422
reading through threads posts and using [search] often yields answers you're looking for prior to posting a thread about it. example: searched "carrillo" and these threads resulted...https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/se...rchid=64843128 |
