Now we’re talking!
Bring on the aftermarket ground effects!
I need an aggressive rear diffuser and a front splitter like I had on my M6!
That’s what the M8’s are all missing!

This is nice but only works with the stock rear valence. If you have the carbon package no go. They made these parts before for other M vehicles...

I've bought a number of aftermarket rear diffusers for my M-cars but I don't think this model needs one. Perhaps it's the CF package that makes the difference.

... that said (and even with a bad mockup), I do like this but I don't think there's sufficient difference relative to the CF diffuser I already have:

Yes, the BMW CF package is nicer than the standard black package.
See pics. The package is boring and I am in the process of upgrading.
I need a more aggressive diffuser, and splitter, and I feel (hope) that the aftermarket will bring me the aggressive detailing my M8 needs.

Do you have any other mods? The stance looks a little narrow... and too tall; perhaps the angle of the pic, though.

Not much so far, just paddle shifters.
Following your lead with the mods to date!
Lowering springs, wider rears, JB4, and the Eventuri intake going in within the next week or so, plus I am waiting on a bunch of cosmetic CF upgrades from out friends at IND industries!
CF roundels, CF wheel center caps, CF side vents, CF rear spoiler, and the CF engine cover kit!
It should look pretty sick when I am done with this first stage of mods!

I will post when I am complete!

Nice!

I'd hold off on the rear CF diffuser until you've got the stance corrected. Are spacers on your list?

It looks pretty good. Any aftermarket diffuser needs to be more aggressive and sit lower. The stock sits really high. I would be all in for this beside the big akra logo. Would be ok if I had the exhaust but know I won’t.

Hopefully we get a RKP option

Although the CF package is definitely nicer I'd still take the standard black package over the asinine greyish color that comes on the M850i. I still have no clue as to what the hell BMW was thinking with that design. Even the CF package on the M850i does not erase the stupidity but rather just adds some CF bits to the greyish diffuser.

If the price is right and my detailer can put a wrap on just the diffuser I'll likely go down that path for now. If I buy the car out from the lease then I'll go all in with a real aftermarket CF diffuser and likely modified exhaust. I can't see sinking the $ to do so now into a car I may just turn back in 2.5 years when the lease is up.
