TPMS Valve Stem Caps
I've got an 07 with the TPMS units in the valve stems. I've heard that it is necessary to use the oem caps or the sending units will not function properly. Fact or Fiction? I'm at work so I can't pull a cap and check. TIA

Also the BMW Corporate lawyers wanted to warn you that there is a tire pressure monitor inside and you must reset your TPM. This novella will not fit on the face of a metal cap .

False because of what was said above. If you get metal caps they easily corrode and become uber hard to get off. Any plastic caps will work though
