I finally installed my AFE (Dry) intake. So far I like it. Dyno controversy aside, the sound is great and the improved throttle response is very noticeable.

I tried to make a video so you can hear what it sounds like. Turns out that the microphone on my camera is pretty crappy, so you might need to turn up your speakers. What you can't hear is the subtle sucking sound, lol. I'll try and make another video, but until then, I'll post this one anyway.

Here are some pictures. I just noticed that I don't have that big AFE logo on the front that some people have complained about. Instead I have a small logo on the inside of the heat shield

Nice! I got the same as well.. but I don't hear it.. Did you make this vid as soon as you install it? Because the sound will be more pronounced after more driving. I'll record one for you tomorrow

Yeah, the microphone on my camera is pretty wimpy, lol. You can't hear the sucking/hissing in the video, but you can hear it's more aggressive than stock. I'll try and make a better video.

Wait a few days and the intake will get louder and more adaptive. I have the oiled version.I love my intake.

You can hear the turbos alot more as well.

I noticed that at first my aFe wasn't that loud, but now after 1,000 miles, I can hear it clearly now.

Nope.

Typical gains of ~10-12RWHP with tune.
