Smoke from oil cap

2015 F30 N20 engine.
Warranty just expired so I changed oil for the first time. I'm an experienced DIY mechanic but it was my first time dealing with a BMW (yay!). I went with 5w30 oil. After a test run, I see some smoke from the oil cap. I know that some smoke is considered normal but it appears to come out quite a bit. Is this normal? See video. Also, the plastic drain plug, is it auto-tightening or something? After a few turns, it doesn't get "tiight"...

Are you sure that's smoke and not water vapor from the moisture bring burned off?

Did you torque the drain plug to spec? There are so many examples of the N55 pan being stripped due to over torquing... hope you didnt do that.

It's not smoke, it's vapor. Normal.

N55 doesn't use a plastic plug. RWD N20/26 do. They seldom strip, but when over tightened you can round out the allen socket, making it an adventure getting it out at the next oil change.
