My 2018 X3 is approaching the end of factory warranty and I received an offer from Allstate, which is my insurer. They call it Extend Vehicle Care instead of Extended Warranty. The claim is it picks up 100% of covered repairs, which only exclude wear and tear items, with a $50 deductible. The cost is $4,518 for additional 5 years and 85,000 miles or $5,233 for 5 years and 100,000 miles. Please note the mileage is odometer reading, not additional coverage, so it is about 49,000 and 64,000 additional miles. This is about $2,300 less than a similar coverage from Century Warranty Services with a $100 deductible. The Allstate plan is sold directly from the company, not through its agents. Does anybody have experience with it? Do y’all think it is worth getting?

I would shop around, plenty of companies out there doing aftermarket warranties - Be sure to READ THE SMALL PRINT as that is where most of the exclusions & caveats will lurk - Good luck 👍
