Hi All,
Hope this is in the correct place? Couldn’t find an intro page.

I’m just about to order a new Company Car M Sport 30e on Monday. Not entirely sorted on a colour or the exact spec as yet. It’s between Alpine White and Sophisto Grey. Anyone with strong views either way?

As for the packs/ extras, anyone got a view on must haves, should have had? Couldn’t live without?

Welcome mate.
Colour is pure subjective, seen both colours and the X3 looks good in both, mine is Glacier Silver so obviously this is the best

M Sport pack, vision pack is all you need tbf, I'm sure others on here will have their preferences but again it is down to personnel choice. IMO always get the options you need/want. The X3 has a real good standard spec.

the packages seem to be slightly different based on country... but the options (regardless of pack they reside in) that i'd never omit would be the surround view camera system and adaptive cruise control. those two items have been the most used and appreciated of everything i've got on mine... and I have every option.

Sophisto all day long if you like to detail your car as that colour will 'pop'.

Tech packs and M Sport Plus if you can.

Spec ?? colour ?? 6 months is a wee while to wait but understandable with all this COVID-19 stuff.

If it's going to be that long, I highly recommend you cancel the order and wait until ~September when the 2021 refresh comes out. Seriously. Unless that's going to be for a 2021? That is a very, very strange lead time.

I've just placed my order a couple of weeks ago for an M40i as managed to get a good deal (albeit on lease), but luckily got one from 'pipeline stock' dealer says it is expected with them first week of October. Guessing it has been sat there in the queue for weeks with no buyer?? Also managed to get the m sports plus pack included for free!

Agree, the due date has come via a colleague who’s having the same model/build, I’m waiting for confirmation.

That's not too bad considered. Even though LCI is next year, I wouldnt expect deliveries for the UK until September/October 2021 so there's no point waiting

I would have went with the white but then again i am a little bias

M-Sport Plus and Tech Pack would have been my recommendations but i see you went for them - great choice!

2nd update from BMW UK dealer - being built in Nov( sometime) and delivered in Jan 21. There is an update from Week 31 to the 30e interior spec, but minimal to say the least. Ah well......
