Best deals in UK for M40i

A friend of mine is looking for a M40i but can't get close to the deal I got in October last year, appreciate values & deals can change but closest deal/spec is still £7.7k more over the term.

Which dealers have offers?

Have you used Carwow? All dealers have access to BMW FS rates and contribution levels. That aside a few dealers commit to higher sales levels and receive a little higher discount. Carwow will give a good view.

Is 10% with the BMW FS contribution? It sounds like there is only the dealer discount included. Maybe the plant can't run at full whack so they don't want too many orders?

Carwow have never even been close to the best deals whenever I've looked! Drive the deal or coast2coast have always been better!

TRL is usually close to their deals, and guaranteed good service with him, so worth it even if he's a few quid more expensive.

It’s usually a dealer in Southampton or a small chain in the North East which give the good quotes. I don’t recall the company names now. TRL was about the same as my local dealer, the Southampton dealer was least expensive but by not enough to make it worth the journey. The market must be peculiar currently so hard to predict. In my case I ended up with a great part-ex locally which made my deal work well. I could have saved a few hundred by selling my old car myself and going for the lowest price on the G01 but I have a life to live. So many ways to buy and sell cars...

May be worth hanging on until July to see what offers come out. Already 1.9% APR on the 5 series saloon...

C2C were more expensive by £500 than carwow.

I think the reality is that the 2.9% along with contributions were fantastic last year.

X3M is taking a hammering though, ex demo's trading £25/£30k under list and with some negotiation on interest rates maybe the one.

I used CarWow as the basis for securing my deal with my local dealer. The deal I managed to get off CarWow (last year August but against an MY20 (post Sept build)) was circa 16% which included a BMW FS deposit contribution and was the best I could find at the time.

I even went direct to BMW Park Lane as the only BMW owned dealership who are often keen to match/better deals and they could only better it by about £100 which for the effort of having to trawl into London to collect seemed hardly worth the saving so I ultimately settled with doing the deal with my local dealer !

Just prior to collection, I managed to get the FS rate amended form 4.9% to the 2.9% offer for the last quarter of 2019, so secured a further £60 a month saving on the payments (or £3000 over the term !)

The Southampton Dealer was the CarWow quote that predicated my local dealer agreeing to match.

I've been looking for weeks and weeks for a good deal on an M40i but best I could find was about £7K off list price.
Eventually found a good deal (I think) but it's on lease. Doesn't bother me about PCP or lease as I tend to have my cars on a 2 year term.
The dealer placed an order from their pipeline stock - guessing they had a few sat in the queue but with no buyers for them and were desperate to get them sold? Due to be with the dealer first week of October. Also came included with the M Sports plus pack in the price!

I have just bought two X4 m40i's, one blue one red. I was doing a deal with 3 dealerships at the same time and managed 2 great deals (imho) so my dad took the red and I went with the blue.

Pre Reg so bare that in mind. One with 4 miles on the clock, the other 7. Both have the latest idrive7 and live cockpit display.

Both agreed at the same price, 34% less than RRP.

Dealers have bought a lot of cars to artificially inflate their sales figures so there are good deals being listed daily on the approved used site.

I got my best price through carwow last September and then the local dealer matched it. It was the Southampton dealer that gave the good price on carwow. Got another 17%

What interest rate out of interest? That’s the deal breaker with ‘used’ vehicles.
