Maxton Rear Diffuser Installed
I just added the Maxton Design rear diffuser. It looks good in conjunction with the front splitter. The car has more of a sporty appearance.

So is it the actual entire diffuser or just a lip that attaches below the existing diffuser? Link to the product?

Providing some basic steps: 1) Remove the 3 heat shields in the rear 2) Use a Dremel to create 3 openings in the Maxton rear splitter which would allow you to get to the middle heat shields's screws. I think that's a mandatory step. 3) Drill 7-8 holes (7/32 drill bit) in the Maxton rear splitter and rear bumper and use the supplied hardware. Note: One or two longer bolts will be required depending on where you decide to drill the holes. 4) If drilling holes in the middle section of the rear bumper in order to hold the Maxton splitter in place, then cutting a small piece out of middle heat shield will be required. I did not use 3M double sided tape. |
