JB+ Questions

Is it safe to run a JB+ at full boost? I understand the JB+ only affects things like boost and not other things like fuel etc? I know it's only +4 PSI maxed out but i'd hate to damage anything.

Simple questions but finding the answer via searching was leading to rabbit holes of other discussions sadly and more discussed on the N54 platform.

Interesting, i'm sure i'm just over thinking it and i'd assume it to be fully safe. I just read in a few places that fuel may be short.

Brother I have a VRSF chargepipe, I was more concerned about the engine itself not the CP. I've taken every precaution don't worry

I understand, but from what I understand the JB+ only increases boost instead of other parameters needed like fueling, etc etc. Where as a flash tune increases fueling + boost + other things
Like I said i'm probably over thinking it lol, just figured i'd post incase someone knew something.

I had mine for a year with no problem, works fine. It's just not polished like a ECU tune is, you get nice extra boost on the low end but it kinda falls flat in the higher RPMS

Understand, just trying to conserve my warranty. Has yours run out? or did the itch just make you say screw the warranty?

It's safe, +4 psi is not a big deal. The DME's closed loop fueling and timing compensate for the changes in boost the same way they would for different weather or fuel quality.
