If you aren't going to polish the car, then you can apply it after claying. It won't fill in swirls by itself, it's only for shine and protection. You can apply it by hand or with a buffer or some kind. I've done both. It goes on like a liquid wax. Let it sit for at least 15-30 minutes after you put it on. Wait until it is dry, then wipe off the excess. I really like JS109, it gives a nice, long lasting finish. You can put wax on top if you feel you want more protection and/or a deeper shine.
If you are going to do some kind of polishing or paint correction, you should do that before applying the JS. Another option is to apply a glaze before putting on the JS. That will make the car shine even more! |
