Running a full e85 tune and no matter what I change the settings too I can’t get burples with bm3. Anyone no why?

Do you have any exhaust?

N55 with an axle-back/cat-back exhaust has noticeable burble, even without a tune.

Maybe you need a spark plug change or air filter change.
I know the first "mod"I did on my n55 was a muffler delete
It gave me slight bubbles in sport mode

If you haven't yet, get a muffler delete

Enable Active Sound Design within the app. If you disable it, burbles will be disabled as well. Go yo Diagnostics>Enable Active Sound Design.

Active sound design is just sound playing through the speakers...correct me if I'm wrong?

Straight from the app. Not sure what the correlation is but I am not a programmer.

It's actually sounds coming from the speakers, pretty sure most people disable it

Bud I'm telling you, it happened to me. I disabled ASD from within the app, flashed, burbles gone. Emailed PTF and they advised me to enable ASD. Did that, flashed, burbles back. Not the stupid sounds from speakers within cabin, actual physical burbles from exhaust.

I understand what you're saying. It's just not making sense to me. Even though it says it in the app..
Unless BM3 has a different definition of ASD and maybe disabling ASD through BM3 messes with the overrun which causes the burbles to be gone

I just tested this recently. Enabled burbles through bm3. Turned asd back on with bimmercode. Bam. Burbles back.

I hate the engine sounds through speakers.

Coded asd off with bimmercode. Burbles gone.

Then i reflashed bm3 with no burbles and turned off startup roar too.

N20 wish I had a N55 lol. I’m straight piped from catless dp to tips. If I run a ots map e30 mix and turn burples to the highest setting it sounds crazy. But with the custom tune nothing. Verily slightly there is a little one but nothing near the other map. I have settings set to the same as the ots map for the burple effect
