Probably it's from a stone kicked up by the wheels. I'd use touch up paint, it'll still be visible but far less so. If you are really careful and patient it should blend reasonably well. If you polish the new paint when soft it helps get a touch up that's at the same level as the good paint.

You really need to buff on it some or take a higher res closeup for us to tell what it is. But generally speaking, it'll either come off with buffing, or it'll need a little touchup paint to build up to the level of paint around it. Then buff it flat/smooth after drying completely.

You should probably take a light polish to it first to smoothen the surface. Touch up paint will work but I would use an arts and craft fine tip brush to fill the chip without forming a blob or you can try layering it and polishing it down if you have the appropriate tools and compounds.

Agree with HeavyD^2. Polish first.

If it doesn't polish out quickly, try some rubbing compound first, then polish. I use a drill with foam for stuff like this after watching a PDR guy do impressive work with the same. Don't overdo it and sand a whole through your finish (would take some effort, but if you're unaware, it could happen).

I have a kit like: https://www.amazon.com/Foam-Drill-Po.../dp/B076ZJMHB1

Consider getting a dr colorchip kit. I have had great success using it on a variety of my cars (fortunately, not needed on my BMW yet). It is extremely easy to use, they match the paint based on your VIN, and there are lots of YouTube videos on how to do it.
