So feel a little foolish posting this, but here goes anyway!

On my 2019 530e, there are 4 'head lights'. 2 inner and 2 outer, if that makes sense.

I always assumed the inner ones were the high beams, but last night when I got out of the car with the high beams on, it looks like the outer ones are both the high and low beams. Inner ones do not come on.

What are the inner lights for? Are they even lights? Sensors of some sort? Purely decorative?

The LED Headlights or the Icon Adaptive Full LED Headlights?

I have a 2018 530e with the lighting package and my lights look like the "full adaptive LED lights" on the link you posted.

Looks like I have LED adaptive headlight with cornering light. There is no 'arrow' pointing to the inboard light on the diagram on Page 4, although there is one pointing to 'ring' around it.

Yeah since they note that the outer most light is a combo low & high beam as well as taking the time to individually number both the left and right lights on the Adaptive Full LED variation. This leads me to think the left/inner light is inoperative and for decoration or to act as a place for the second DRL ring.

OK...so decorative it is, it appears. I'm a little surprised, but no big deal, I guess.

Just wanted to make sure I didn't have a wrong setting that prevented them from coming on.
