Rebuild PS2 or search for more power..?

Has anyone else been in this situation before?

You go all in, Pure Stage 2, FBO, Fueling upgrades, and Tune etc. Then you have issues with your turbo. In my case the compressor wheel fails, now I have to consider:

1) Rebuild the PS2?

2) Go larger ie. Big Boost 3.4?

Of course the second option cost way more, my car currently has 93k on it. I want to get into a M3/Supra/991.2 eventually, but that's probably in another year or so unless I find a deal on something. Regardless my car is down now and down payment money is going towards a fix. Any insight?

how old is the PS2? not under warranty anymore?

It's just over a year old, 14 months.

I just talked to the guys at Pure Turbos they said they would take care of it worst case would be 350-450 to rebuild.

If I were you I'd rebuild 100%. If you're only keeping the car another year, upgrading is a huge expense for just 1 year.

They should do better than that on the rebuild price considering 2 months out.. but thats just my opinion

definitley rebuild, especially for what they are charging you even worst case..

Yes, rebuilding the turbo is the wise decision.. I'm going that route. Working on coordinating everything.
