Hi guys,
Couple of questions..

I bought a 316D f31 the other day and only 2weeks the power steering went faulty. Apperantly it has aluminium bolts that brake. So its been in the repair shop and they have changed the bolts and put together. Steering is stiff and they have tried adjustments. Could be the inner belt and that could cost me a around 3000$ (allready paid 400$)

So I have read some posts regarding this issue, my questions are..

Where lies responsabilaty?
How to contact BMW directly?
Recall or not?
Tips&tricks regarding problem?
Cheaper spare part?

I live in Iceland and this car comes from Belgium.
