You go with whatever makes you happy. that's just branding and not out of place. Now putting "M" badges on when they don't belong.... that's different.

I like the gloss black, but don't like the M stripes or double slats on a non-M car. Personal preference thing.

If you like it though that's all that matters!

I think the "chrome" on all the cars looks like shit though... mainly because it ISN'T actually chrome, it's just plastic imitation chrome. Sure it's saving weight, but the average person isn't going to care if they have 15 or 20 lbs of actual chrome.
I'm actually jealous of your black outer pieces. They look a lot sharper IMO

OP, When I swapped my grills, I did the gloss black ones (thought the M colors would be too much - poser, etc). Fast forward 4 years, and I see a bunch of cars around with your grills, and I wish I did those. The subtle color is just nice, I'd keep them in personally.

Still havnt put the flat black on yet. These are growing on me. Funny how something that small and simple can give the car a whole new feel to it.
