Amplifier upgrade

Hey all,

I am looking to upgrade my amp as I have hifi sounds system. What options are out there? If I wanted to buy a HK amplifier off ebay from previous vehicle, what would I need? Amplifier control unit...radio amplifier??? Is it more difficult to upgrade with bmw HK amplifier compared to plug and play options from bavsound, etc.

Don't go HK/OEM. Look at Bav and others.
