Heated steering wheel
My M2C has the executive package. That is meant to come with a heated steering wheel, right?
How do you turn it on? I'm starting to think that I don't have one because I can't figure it out. On the "build your m2" page on the website the exec package details shows a button on the wheel. But my wheel doesn't have that button. I know that the fancier M performance wheels with alcantara or shift lights lose the heated option but I don't have either of those. I'll have to look at the build sheet for the car again but is there any way that you can order the car with exec package but for it to not come with the heated steering wheel (and no upgraded wheel either)? |

Haven't been using mine lately, but if I remember correctly there is a button located on the left side of your steering column.

The button is hidden on the left side of the steering column below the turn signal lever.

I have a sep 2019 build with executive pack and no heated wheel either, it's a UK car so either figured it was a region or model year thing.

I first had a heated wheel on a BMW 650i. The button was in that same place for a decade and only moved to the face of the wheel just below the airbag on the latest generation of 3, 5, 7, X models, etc.

So I have the exec package and got the port-installed flat bottom "sport" steering wheel. Last fall I took delivery and thought maybe they forgot to tell me it doesn't come heated. Has been so hot I never bothered to try it this season. Now that I know there's a separate switch maybe it does have heat? IDK? I'll have to give it a try.

Good to know. It's only a summer car for me so it's irrelevant but IMHO they should disclose that when you're ponying up the extra $1000 or whatever silliness it was. |
