M340i MPE in uk

Hi all,

Anyone in UK fitted the M performance exhaust to their G20/G21 M340i yet? I've got the part number 18-30-2-464-492 and ready to order but just want to make sure it will fit.

As far as I know there is still no MPE for EU version with OPF / GPF.

Not one available for the EU/UK. I've search high and low and asked several dealers.

I doubt there ever will because of emissions or it'll make no difference to the sound because of the PPF so BMW haven't bothered/can't make it work.

That part number is for the US version. I think the PPF means it won't fit without some major tweaks.

I think however that the stock exhaust on the M340i is some sort of M sport system anyway but the literature is limited.

I'm also sure it'll completely invalidate any warranty on the exhaust if we put a non EU system onto a EU car.

What I don't know is if they will change that with the new M3??
